Hannah Montana Sucks
It really bothers me that a couple of years ago I would have bought a ticket to see a show like the Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana or whatever that girl goes by now. Not only is she completely self-centered she has absolutely no talent. The only reason she’s even famous at all is because of her father. And lets face it, achy breaky heart? really? I want my mullet back?! What the HELL?! Of course Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana is completely untalented! She doesn’t exactly have it in her genes. But its not like she’s doing any work seriously we have the lovely people at Hollywood records writing the songs for her all she has to do is look good and keep brain washing millions of America’s little girls so …

To Fall in Love with India
My gift cannot be seen or sung, but can be heard. I am a writer, but also I consider myself a performing artist because I perform my poems in front of my cohorts in school and other poets and artists of all sorts. The poem I choose to send to you is a poem I wrote while I was in India titled “To Fall In Love With India”. This poem represents how and why I fell in love with India. My poem illustrates my personal experience and more importantly what India taught me, and how I will never be the same as a result. Enjoy!!!
To Fall In Love with India
To Fall In Love with India
Is to be in love eternally,
So beautifully,
Stay with me *
I …

Any given teenage girl can rattle off the most intimate details about random T.V. starlets, but so many of us are unaware of a woman who has had so much impact on our lives just because she doesn’t throw herself into the media.
Gloria Steinem is a badass and deserves greater appreciation from our generation.
More concretely, she is a feminist activist, organizer, writer and lecturer. She co-founded magazines like Ms. Magazine, which is still a great feminist read, and helped to found organizations such as the Ms. Foundation for Women, Choice USA, and the Women’s Media Center.
She’s written about everything from advertising to networking, but what she’s probably most known for is her expose on the Playboy organization, for which she worked undercover …

Mail Call
When I was younger, I used to love getting mail; it made me feel so important, more grown-up and mature. Lately, I’ve been receiving college advertisements and dreading them. It actually means I have to grow-up. It’s funny how it all works, wanting something when you’re younger and then completely changing your views when you’re older. Anyway, my parents gave me my mail and I assumed it was the same old colleges sending me more brochures, but it turns out I received my monthly copy of Seventeen magazine.
However, when I saw it, I was disappointed. The cover was Lauren Conrad and it was their hair issue. When I was a kid I thought it was the coolest thing to be a superstar. Don’t get me wrong, it’d be awesome …
