Have you heard of RAWA - feminists in Afghanistan and also Malalai Joya? Also in Sudan this week a woman called Lubna Hussein is challenging the state's right to stop her wearing trousers, she will probably be lashed for this, although she could have claimed immunity through her job with the UN, she and 3 other women have chosen to go to court to fight back against the patriachy - very brave!
