Tis true,even though women only occupy only 13% of the top slots of major corporations, those corporations are always at the top of the class.

The best run company in France is not Airbus or the pharmaceutical companies(France has a bunch), it’s Hermes, the handbag company, founded and run by women…the numbers prove it. If more women held positions of power in the financial sector, the economy wouldn’t of blown up….more like imploded but whatever.

As for feminism, they are feminists, just not third wave feminists(I’m not either). Fashion, and associated companies like Elle, is coming to be dominated by women. Why not? Why should our clothes, makeup, etc be made by men?…although many of the best fashion designers in the world are men.

Of course many of those women do not associate themselves with the feminist label, why would they? So that they can get into a bunch of catfights with both the women’s studies crowd who accuse them of being elitist AND social conservative anti-feminists who accuse them of destoying society/morality/etc.

Pfft Women who build/manage million /billion dollar empires are smart enough to know which battles are worth fighting, and which are not.

I think it is impossible to make generalizations based on gender when it comes to management. My own boss is probably the opposite of most of these qualities and I also see some of them as being both pros and cons. Being in the middle of the table or leading by example is a great management style, but sometimes especially when it comes to needing to confront a male employee they automatically treat you as an inferior, rather then equal due to this presentation.

I really don’t like generalizations about gender, no matter how true they are. This just gives anti-feminists an example about how we aren’t about equality or whatever bull they come up with.
