Maddow v. Buchanan over Sotomayor

I’m honestly not even sure I can articulate my feelings about this video. It makes me sick that this is how some people view affirmative action. It makes me sick to see how white supremacy is still alive. Samhita at feministing sums it up pretty well though.

Also, please consider signing this petition for MSNBC to fire Pat Buchanan. I know I signed.

I saw this when it came on and I was absolutely disgusted. It’s so obvious that Buchanan just feels threatened by Sotomayor and wants her gone, so he’s looking for any excuse he can think of to brand her as inadequate. Luckily, the only person he branded as inadequate here was himself.

Thank you for the link to the petition. I’m definitely signing.

I always wondered how Rachel Maddow was ever able to sit next to Buchanan all that time before she got her own show and not punch him in the face.

    Wow. Yikes. Ugh.

I think I need to start watching this Rachel Maddow more often. She seems pretty awesome.

The odd bit is that Rachel calls him her “Uncle Pat”. Well, when you love someone you put up with wingnutty relatives and friends
