And I agree. In this society, *everyone* knows the White male perspective. You can't help but learn it. It's what's taught in school, in the media, in books, magazines, everywhere. So, if you are something other than a White male, you have more than one perspective. You're aware that there are multiple perspectives from the time you understand what perspective is. It's kind of like being bilingual. My take is that she is saying that a Latina woman would possibly be a better candidate. And I agree.

So, if you are something other than a White male, you have more than one perspective. You’re aware that there are multiple perspectives from the time you understand what perspective is.
