@Prerna
My parents met at Syracuse and my brother is going there in the fall =) I was able to meet Ms. Cantor when my bro did his college tour. She's a really wonderful person, Syracuse is lucky to have her.

@Caitlin
thanks so much! and also that sounds really cool about the classes!

Hi!

Found your blog through jezebel.com and wanted to just drop a line to encourage you to keep at it!! I'm emailing a link to your site to my undergrad womens studies professor, and I'm planning on finding some way to incorporate your blog in my freshman English classes at Syracuse next year (I'm entering a grad program which will have me teaching undergrad classes!)

As someone who has a few years on you but identified as a feminist from a young age on, please know, that despite and criticism or naysayers, what you are doing on this site, matters. You are a great role model already, and I am so glad you are a voice for young women who might be afraid to drop the fbomb!

Great job!

Hi, Julie! Just found your blog yesterday through feministing. What I've read so far is really great, and I commend you on being so outspoken and active as a high school student. Just out of curiosity, what is your connection to Syracuse University? I see that not only have you interviewed Chancy, as we affectionately call her, but have also linked to Jerk Mag. I just graduated from SU in May and was highly involved with the Vagina Monologues and Students Advocating Sexual Safety and Empowerment during my four years there. Cheers again on your inspirational work!
