Ugh with the assumptions, fbomb. Just Ugh. You assume that because she’s a pretty celebrity NOW, her adolescence must have been a breeze? Most celebrities actually talk about what dorks they were in high school. They weren’t that pretty. Nobody liked them. They were into drama club and stuff and that wasn’t cool where they came from, etc, etc. I mean, you may not know this if you’re still in high school, but hardly ANYONE is the same as they were in high school once they get out. I know a lot of people who were complete dorks and got to college–not Hollywood, just college–and became much more confident, much more popular, et cetera.

I’m not saying high school WAS hard for her. Maybe it was great. But seriously, you’re just assuming things about her because she looks a certain way? I’m disappointed.

First of all it’s just a joke ad for her movie. She’s not saying anything about herself. But I’m sure she had a hard time in high school. She said in an interview that people used to throw ketchup packets at her. She wasn’t always pretty, she probably had an awkward stage or even if she didn’t, everyone has a hard time whether they are hot or not. I like Megan Fox, she’s a bitch and she’s one of a kind.

Violence against women, when present in the first place, is actually _cast_ as brutal and reprehensible. It is often what makes the movie a horror movie. i was also considered attractive in high school but i was also thought of as arrogant and rude because of it…when i’m not it’s as if their always the complete opposite of what you think…

first of all – the psa is a joke and a marketing tool for the film. no one made it so that you “feel sorry for megan fox.” they made it to drive up ticket sales.

second of all – ok, so megan fox is really hot and extremely famous right now. that doesn’t mean she hasn’t gone through some shit in her life. beauty doesn’t equal acceptance from your peers. in fact, we live in a society where women are so messed up to each other that if you’re extremely beautiful you’ll like be ostracized by your female peers due to jealousy. in fact, that’s exactly what some of the women responding to this post are doing. but props to the women who can see past and are actually posting fair comments.

third of all – megan fox has publicly discussed her difficulty growing up. she’s said in many interviews that she was a bit “obnoxious” and a “loud-mouth” which often put her at odds with her peers. based off that, i’d say she does have a pretty good idea what its like to not fit in with the crowd. and i think its rather refreshing that she publicly admits to her own personality growing pains.

ladies, hating another woman just cause she’s beautiful won’t make you more beautiful. and remember, looks, fame and money aren’t everything despite what society likes to have us believe. we really need to stop buying into all that bs.

and as for the movie, i think it looks like it’ll be entertaining.
