Saturday Vids: Modern Lady Defends Planned Parenthood

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaah. There are really no words for this insane action by our government. But there are words for the always awesome people of Current TV’s infomania, as they wittily tackle another social issue- the funding stripped of Planned Parenthood by Congress. Of course, there’s some consolation- NASCAR still gets government funding!

This is messed up. No other way to say it.

Republicans are all about banning abortion instead of preventing it. And planned parenthood was all about that. Republicans are so stupid.

Americans really are the dumbest people in the developed world. No universal health care, no health care for women, but hey, they love them there fast cars!….and marrying their cousins.

Since Roe-vs-Wade, on average, women in this country have had about 1.5 million abortions a year, which is more than the death’s of every war dead of every american in the history of this country, in just 1 year.

It look’s like percentage wise 1981 was the banner year at 1 abortion for every 2.301 allowed to live. It look’s like you’re batting about 3.5 abortion’s (35%) outta 10. Here’s a link that give’s the ratio from 1973 to 2005.

Worldwide women abort 60 million per year, so in 10 years that’s 600 million. That’s more then all the war dead and all the plague’s in 5000 years of recorded history. Grrrl power, you’ve come a long way baby!!!

    NWOslave,

if you’re so against abortion, don’t you think planned parenthood needs government funding now more than ever, so they can educate men and women about avoiding STD’s and pregnancy?

Now it’s just going to get worse.

  • NWOslave @ at 12:05 pm, March 7th, 2011

@Natalia…I’m a little baffled by your response. Pregnancy isn’t a problem, how can a man and a woman creating a new life be considered a problem?

STDs is spread only through promiscuity, not a lack of free contraception. The countries that you’ll mock for being backward about sexual freedom have no STDs. Unless of course your main concern is being able to have as many sexual partner’s as possible?

Please don’t try and tell me there is an overpopulation problem. If 3 people live in a two story 1800 sq foot home with a 2000 sq foot yard you counld fit everyone in an area the size of Texas.

Today on average there are more than 3 people living per house. And I’m say an area the size of Texas not neccesarily Texas itself. Which means the entire rest of the planet’s resources can easily support the amount of people. In fact using simple math this planet can support around 70 or 80 billion people easily.

Now, please justify the need for any abortion or contraception, other than promiscuity or convience or sacrificing time and money.

What frustrates me the most is that Title X funding has NOTHING to do with abortion… yet everyone is making it a big abortion issue. Also, not every Planned Parenthood site offers abortion services. For our representatives, the congresspeople ought to be more educated on issues they are so passionate about.

Furthermore, so many other family planning clinics/programs are at risk! Even some abstinence-only programs would be affected by this funding cut as abstinence is a method of family planning! I volunteer for a health clinic in New Jersey and it frustrates me that all people can focus on is Planned Parenthood. Sure, it is a mainstream family planning clinic and it’s a household name, but there are many other places that would be in great danger because of the cuts! Many other places that people may prefer over Planned Parenthood.

When the father walks out on the mother and leaves her with the burden of raising a child, yes it’s a problem. Do you really want more children who have unfit parents? Every child deserves to be raising in a loving environment. Which is why birth control is crucial so only those want children will take on the responsibility. Now that’s a more advanced society. I know you’re not in favor of abortion, but I’m sure we can agree on the fact that not everyone should be parents and people should be PROACTIVE when it comes to reproduction.

And ANYONE can get an STD!! Let’s say I’m a virgin and I give it to the “one” who happens to have some sort of STD, how does that make me a whore? It can happen to anyone. Are you really that careless to not worry about STD’s just because you’re not slutty? There’s no guarantee that the person you decide to sleep with is completely clean. Not even they know.

Please do not feed the troll. And John, the answer is still no. An hour of down time is essentially non-existant for me, as I have much better things to do than to lurk around blogs attempting to irritate people and watch documentaries about subjects the aforementioned type of people suggest to me.

NWOslave literally just made those numbers up…

  • Rosemary @ at 3:05 am, March 8th, 2011

or is extremely bad at math. multiplying by factors of 10 is hard…

    @ NWOslave-
    It’s
    *deaths,
    *plagues, and
    *partners.
    Plurals do not require apostrophes.

  • NWOslave @ at 5:49 pm, March 9th, 2011

@A…Since my improper usage of plurals clearly denote’s/denotes my incipent inability to rationalise disreguard everything I’ve said.

@Rosemary…I provided a link which also lead’s/leads to other link’s/links.
